Gold S.T. Dupont Lighters
Gold S.T. Dupont lighters
Gold has been central to S.T. Dupont since the maison's very first lighter in 1941 — a solid gold piece commissioned by the Maharaja of Patiala. Most vintage Dupont lighters carry gold plating, typically 20 microns, applied over brass and hallmarked on the underside.
This collection spans gold-plated Ligne 1 and Ligne 2 models in finishes from Pointe de Diamant to Prince of Wales, alongside the occasional solid 18k piece. On gold, condition matters more than on any other finish — wear to the plating cannot be undone — so every piece here is described honestly and photographed from all angles.
