A vintage S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 lighter in silver, finished in the classic vertical stripe engraving and preserved in new old stock condition.
The vertical stripe is among the most enduring finishes S.T. Dupont has produced, running in fine parallel lines from base to lid so that the surface catches and releases the light as the lighter turns in the hand. It has appeared across the Ligne 2 range since the model's introduction in 1977 and remains one of the designs collectors return to most often — understated enough for daily use, distinctly Dupont at a glance.
This example survives in new old stock condition, unused and free of the plating wear that age normally brings. The engraving remains sharp throughout. The lighter has been serviced and is in perfect working order.
