A vintage S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 lighter, reference 15592, finished in laque de chine with a vibrant red running through black lacquer — an early-80s classic in good condition.
It's uncommon nowadays to find a reference 15592 Laque de Chine model in decent condition. They weren't the most popular finish when this model, and many other Ligne 2 classics, were released on the market in the early 1980s, which makes surviving examples harder to come across today. The lava-like look of the vibrant red running through the black lacquer is genuinely striking. This piece has been preserved well — the condition of the laque is good with no wear to the gold plating, and if not for a couple of small dents it would be excellent. Still, this Ligne 2 is an essential, well-priced purchase for any collection, and it's in fully working condition.
