Laque de chine is S.T. Dupont's signature hand-applied lacquer technique, rooted in centuries-old Chinese lacquer artistry and built up in dozens of layers over several weeks for a depth of colour no factory paint can match. Blue is one of the rarer shades to find on a Ligne 2, most collections leaning toward black, red, or tortoise tones, which makes this piece stand out. It has been fitted with a dual flame, serviced, and is in perfect working order.
